During pregnancy, you use the nursing pillow as back support when you need a break. It is also good for supporting the belly or for having between your knees when you need to sleep and find a good resting position.
When your baby is a newborn, the nursing pillow is indispensable support when you breastfeed or bottle-feed. It helps you avoid tension in your neck and shoulders because it can be moved according to your needs.
The nursing pillow's practical tie straps ensure that it stays in place around your waist. This is helpful if you need to lift the baby from, for example, the cradle to breastfeeding. The tie straps are also practical when you need to leave the house. Tie a bow in them, and sling the nursing pillow over your shoulder or on the stroller handle.
The nursing pillow's size and shape mean that you do not need to move it when you switch sides, and if you are lucky enough to have twins, there is also room for both at the same time.

The filling in the nursing pillow is kapok, which is a silky-soft natural fiber that contains a natural antibacterial bitter substance, which makes it impossible for house dust mites to live in it. Therefore, kapok is an ideal material for allergy sufferers. Kapok is also breathable and temperature-regulating.
Only wash your kapok product if it is strictly necessary. When you wash a kapok product, it will always change a little.
If you would like to freshen it up a bit, we recommend that you hang it outside in the fresh air. If a stain has appeared on the product, you can carefully spot clean it so that the entire product does not get wet.
If it is necessary to wash your kapok product, it is important that you follow the washing and drying instructions here.
Washing:
Always wash the product alone and only at 40 degrees to protect the kapok fibers.
- Choose a short wash program, and avoid extra rinsing or soaking, as this can damage the kapok fibers.
- Choose a wash program with extra spin, or run an extra spin cycle (preferably 1.200 revolutions) after washing to get as much water out of the bed bumper as possible before drying.
- Use a gentle detergent without bleach or enzymes, and do not use fabric softener.
Drying:
- After washing, the product must be dried immediately. The kapok fibers clump together when they are wet, but become fluffy again when dried according to the instructions. Please note that it takes time to dry the kapok fibers, i.e. you should expect it to take up to 4 hours in the tumble dryer.
- Dry the product alone in the tumble dryer.
- Choose a medium-heat program, and dry for approx. 30 min at a time, after which you feel the product to sense how far the drying process has progressed. If the fibers still clump together, continue drying the product in the tumble dryer. Shake the product so that the fibers are distributed.
- When your Sebra product is slightly damp, take it out of the tumble dryer and let the last moisture disappear by placing it upright in a warm place – for example in a room with underfloor heating over a drying rack.
- You can advantageously use wool dryer balls in the tumble dryer, as they help distribute the kapok fibers, and thereby help prevent them from clumping together. Do not use tennis balls!
The nursing pillow is designed in Denmark, and the cover is made of organic cotton that can be washed at 60℃. The lovely quality can withstand many washes and be passed down to future siblings.
